Filmen 'Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return' er en animeret version af bogen 'Dorothy of Oz' af Roger Stanton Baum. Historien foregår efter Dorothys første tur til Oz, hvor hun igen bliver transporteret fra Kansas til det fantastiske Oz-land og møder sine venner, Scarecrow, Tin Man og Cowardly Lion.
